A skillful expert marksman can easily hit the target with one shot. A less skillful marksman might need a shotgun firing multiple bullets all at once. – Dr. Oren Kaholi

PRAÏUM Medical Solutions average rate of success is above 94.5% due to its
holistic, in-depth and precise integrative diagnosis process (To Read More, press

treatment method of the Single Needle Technique (SNT). All of them enable the
PRAÏUM Medical Solutions physician to provide a personalized, structured and pre-
informed treatment plan, for the maximum possible rehabilitation of the patient's state
of health. The personal treatment plans are adapted in each and every individual case
according to its examined causes and conditions, both external and internal. The aim
is to provide a complete cure when possible, or at least stop the deterioration process
and promote better chances of longevity with the best possible quality of life.
The Single Needle Technique (SNT) was brought to Israel by Oren Kaholi, Doctor
of Natural Health Science (DNHSc, Ph.D.), the founder and CEO of
PRAÏUM Medical Solutions. Dr. Kaholi is one of the few Westerners who had the
privilege to learn this extraordinary acupuncture system from one the last original
Chinese masters and become an expert in it. Dr. Kaholi has continued to perfect the
SNT system during more than a decade of clinical experience, treating thousands of
cases in his clinics, worldwide. He especially adapted SNT to treat the Western
diseases of the modern age. (To Read More about Dr. Kaholi, press here).
SNT is the most precise, efficient and safe acupuncture system. It
differs significantly from the multi-needling system prevalent and known in the West
as the "Traditional Chinese Medicine", or TCM.
Most people are unaware of the fact that the TCM system using multi-needling is
NOT the original Chinese medicine. The TCM is a product of modern China,
resulting from opening China to the West at the beginning of the last century and the
loss of most of the original texts and practitioners during China's culture
revolution (To Read More about the history of acupuncture in China,
press here). When studying the original Chinese medicine texts, such as the
Yellow Emperor texts, one concludes that the SNT is indeed the original
method of acupuncture, since it was founded in China around 4000 years
ago. Its main feature has been using during the therapy session only one
single needle at a time, inserted at one acupuncture point, before the
physician moves on with a new single needle to the next acupuncture point,
and so on.
During a SNT therapy session, the physician is constantly examining and
monitoring the state of the patient, its bodily reaction to the treatment, while
taking into account a number of variables effecting the patient's physiology

and the progress of the treatment. During the entire treatment session, the
physician constantly examines the effect of the acupuncture on the patient's
body. This enables the physician to assess precisely the next steps of the
session, and adapt the treatment immediately to maximize the benefit and
minimize undesired adverse effects.
While meticulously assessing the conditions relevant to each specific
treatment session, the SNT physician adapts the treatment to the time of the
session, whether day or night, the season, the weather, the condition of the
patient, here and now, etc. Weighing all these considerations, the SNT
physician determines the type of needle used, the angle and speed of the
needle insertion, how long the needle remains at that single point, the angle
and speed of taking out the needle, and more. The SNT physician checks at
every point the bodily reaction to the needling, subsequently adapting the
route of the treatment, as needed. This overall precise and meticulous method
does not exist in any other acupuncture system. It is a cardinal reason for the
average 94.5% success rate of SNT compared to the regular TCM (multi-
needle system).
SNT unique ability to truly personalize the treatment is not available with the
multi-needle system of the TCM. In the TCM system, all the needles to be
used during the session are inserted one after the other at the start of the
session, and the needles remain in the acupuncture points for an arbitrary
period of time, without monitoring the bodily reaction. Furthermore, the
session is conducted according to general pre-determined protocols of
treating the pathology, with little consideration and adaptation to the patient's
specific and individual circumstances.
The most significant difference between SNT and the TCM is that the SNT
uses only one needle at a time, while the TCM employs many needles all at
once all along the body. Why is this so significant? Because when only one
needle is inserted at any given time without any other insertions at the same
time, all bodily systems are engaged 100% with what is happening at that
point; the body's awareness to the needle and its action is concentrated
without distraction on one point and so the influence and benefit derived from
that one needle is at its maximum. Any second needle inserted into the body
at the same time will reduce the efficacy of the first insertion by 50%.
Furthermore, when inserting more than one needle at a time, there is no
possibility to properly monitor and assess the response of the body to each
needle. This reduces considerably the physician's ability to control the session
and verify, whether the insertion and action of any point has yielded the
desired results. Moreover, inserting more than one needle at a time might
create contrary reactions, thereby increasing the danger of a treatment failure
and negative side effects. All of these risks and concerns to not exist with the
Single Needle Technique (SNT). In the TCM, many needles are inserted all at
once, and so the ratio of the treatment's efficacy is being reduced further and
further with every extra inserted needle. There is little wonder that many
people are disappointed with the TCM results, losing their trust in acupuncture
and Chinese medicine altogether.

In the modern multi-needle TCM system, all treatments adhere to uniform
general protocols taken out of modern theory books in disconnection with the
original traditional Chinese Medicine text books of the Yellow Emperor, etc.
Let's not forget, that the said old traditional Chinese Medicine texts have been
successfully treating billions of people for around 4000 years. The SNT
system considerably differs from that of the TCM, at its very core. An SNT
physician does not rely on academic protocols and in every session, the SNT
physician chooses the most efficient and relevant points to be treated in the
specific case and at the specific time and conditions of the patient and the
session. In addition, after the single needle insertion, the SNT physician would
employ various manipulation and techniques to maximize the therapeutic
action of the inserted needle and reach the exact intended result. This is why,
SNT acupuncture appears to many patients like a unique and special work of
art and wonder, both in terms of its execution and its extraordinary results.
As common in the TCM, the multi needles are inserted into the various points
at the start of the session, all at once. Then. the physician typically leaves the
treatment room, to attend to other patients waiting in the next rooms, to
undergo the same sort of procedure. In the meantime, the first patient lies with
the inserted needles for the same duration allotted for each of the other
patients, usually around 30 minutes. At the end of the allotted time, a staff
member would enter the treatment room, pull out the needles and by that the
session is finished, without monitoring the results until the next session.
In contrast, an SNT physician attends to the same patient all the way through
the session, from beginning to end, continuously performing the suited
manipulations with the single inserted needle at each and every point, and
checks the bodily reaction time and again in order to immediately adjust the
treatment to the unfolding progress of the session. The constant monitoring of
the treatment ensures that there are no adverse effects that the patient might
experience till the next session.
In conclusion, not only does the SNT system provide the best chance of a
long-term success, but it is also safe, devoid of undesirable side effects and
risks. The SNT system is compatible to PRAÏUM Medical Solutions
professional and uncompromised rigor when providing its services to the clients.
