All bodily organs and systems function dependently upon each other and can potentially influence the Bp;
Therefore, they all must be examined for an efficient personalized treatment
In most cases, high blood pressure does not originate in the heart, but in other bodily systems. Conventional medicine usually refers high Bp patients to the cardiologist. However, if the cardiologist does not take into account other bodily systems that have a direct and fundamental impact on the blood Bp, the most important causes for the high Bp might be missed.
In such a case, it would not be possible to heal the Bp problem from its root. The medical treatment would be usually symptomatic by way of pills that expand the blood vessels in a mechanical way, block important calcium channels, “thin” the blood and other such symptomatic actions, to try and balance the Bp. But these pills do not offer a permanant solution to the initial base causes for the high blood Bp. Moreover, with time, the efficacy of these pills lessens further and further, but their negative side effects accumulate more and more.
Another factor frequently elevating Bp levels is inflexibility of the blood vessels wall due to a deficiency in elastin protein. Such a deficiency is common in cases of general protein deficiency due to malabsorption of nutrients in the gut and malfunction of the liver. This root pathology can be easily detected in the blood test. One of the common symptoms of elastin deficiency are migraines during seasonal change, especially in spring and autumn, when the blood vessels diameter must expand or contract to adapt to the change in the weather. Common medicine does not offer many efficient and side-effect-free options to treat malfunction of the gut, and anyway, it usually does not take this root pathology into account, when diagnosing and treating high Bp.
High Bp pills are usually prescribed on a permanent basis and in the long run they may harm mostly the liver and the kidneys, as indicated also in the medication package insert. The initial root pathology of either or both the liver and the kidneys thus deteriorates in a number of ways: First, the side effects to those organs due to the long-term usage of the pills; Second, further burdening the already weaker liver and kidneys with the extra function of evecuating the foreign materials contained in the pills through urine and stools. Each such pill might contain a relatively small dose, but the chemicals contained in them are very powerful and their accumulated action intensifies further and furthar negative side-effects. All the while, these pills were never intended to solve the high Bp problem. All they do is give a temporary appearance, as if the symptom of high Bp seemingly gets better, while the initial pathologies creating the high Bp get worse.
It should be stressed that the body does not raise the Bp for no reason, randomly, “just because”. The Bp goes up as a crucial response to an inner unresolved metabolic problem. In the majority of the cases, it is a bodily response to increased viscosity and density of the blood (“thick” blood) due to excess lipid molecules in the blood stream, or blood vessels stenosis (narrowing) due to lipid deposits on the inner walls of the blood vessels. In most cases both of these pathologies co-exist, disrupting the smooth and uninterrupted blood flow within its vessels. The vital function of the heart is to continuously stream the blood to all the cells, organs and bodily systems without fail – from the root of the toe nail up to the hair follicles on the top of the head. To overcome the above said problems in the blood flow caused by the hyperlipidemia, the heart must raise the pressure within the blood vessels in order to perform its function. In the absence of hyperlipidemia to disrupt the blood flow, there would not be a need for the heart to increase its output efforts to propel the blood toward its end targets. Therefore, the pathology here does not lie with the heart. The heart simply performs its function by raising the blood pressure to overcome the blood flow inhibitions. Raising the blood pressure under those circumstances is a natural and vital response of the heart to the hyperlipidemia, which allows the heart to perform its vital function in the said conditions of hyperlipidemia.
Therefore, in circumstances of unresolved hyperlipidemia, a higher Bp it is a vital mechanism for the body’s survival, so that the blood carrying oxygen and nutrients can reach each and every cell at all times. When the diameter of the blood vessels becomes smaller, the heart in its innate natural wisdom steppes up the rhythm of its function. Conventional medicine regards this crucial and natural survival inner mechanism of raising the Bp as a pathology by itself, regardless of its causes and reasons. Conventional medicine does not recognize the bodily vital need to protect itself for its survival, and instead of addressing the causes underlying this innate protection measure, it goes for the very survival mechanism, thereby “killing the messenger” and disrupting the natural function of the heart.
The main bodily organ in charge of the lipid metabolism is the liver. One of the main functions of the liver is to purge the blood from excess lipid molecules, as well as clearing away lipid deposits from the blood vessels walls. The liver dismantles fat molecules, synthesizes the particles to new fat molecules and delivers excess lipids to the large intestines to be secreted in the stools. Therefore, a dysfunction of the liver would be the main root cause for the eventual hyperlipidemia in all its manifestations and the resultant heightened Bp. If, while diagnosing and treating high Bp, the doctor does not take into account liver function, the diagnosis would be very partial, the treatment would not be efficient and it could even cause further damage.
The kidneys are another bodily organ with strong influence on the Bp. Kidney malfunction can be another main cause for heightened Bp. Every minute a liter of blood enters the kidneys, which have major function in regulation blood production and flow. The kidney cells (“nephrons”) secrete the hormone Renin into the blood stream to regulate the heart rate. A reduction in the secretion or quality of Renin due to malfunction in the kidneys may account for 20% – 30% of high Bp cases, especially in men. The reduction in Renin causes a disruption in the heart rate. When rehabilitating and strengthening the kidneys, the heart rate returns to balance, as well. Therefore, if the doctor diagnosing and treating a case of high Bp does not examine and take into account the state of the urinary system too, the diagnosis may not be complete yet again, and the treatment ineffective.

In conclusion, the mere symptom of high Bp in itself is not the exclusive or even main target of the treatment. High Bp is a mere symptom of am inner pathology in one or more of the vital organs. High Bp is actually a survival mechanism – a way of the body to continue functioning in a disrupted and unresolved organ pathology. Moreover, common pills to mechanically reduce BP, as mentioned above actually burden the heart further by preventing it from raising the pressure in the vessels as means to adjust its function to the existing circumstances.
Therefore, the symptom of high Bp by itself should not be the focus of the treatment. Rather the root causes for this symptom must be properly diagnosed in a thorough analysis and addressed in the treatment plan according to the findings in each and every individual case. When effectively diagnosing and treating the root causes, the manifestation of high Bp will also disappear without the need for further medical intervention.

The most common cause for a high Bp are lipid deposits on the blood vessels. Cardiac catheterization to open up blockages in the main arteries leading to the heart is a common medicine procedure in such cases. It is considered an emmergency life-saving procedure, routinely performed on blockages of the blood vessels to improve blood flow and subsequantly reducing blood pressure too. However, this procedure is merely a local surgery, and it does not address the general problem of multiple lipid deposits on the various blood vessels wall throughout the body. When such deposits are diagnosed on the main blood vessels leading to the heart, we can be assured that such deposits causing blockages exist in other sites, less central, too. Therefore, when we first diagnose a blockage on one of the major blood vessels, we must properly address the overall problem existing in all other blood vessels. For example, although we may not initially feel a small blockage in the foot, if the general pathology of hyperlipidemia is not resolved, we are in grave danger of a serious pathology erupting in that foot as time goes on.Unfortunately, the medical establishment addresses only the local blockages creating a danger to the heart itself. It does not employ a holistic approach.
This is why the pills do not provide an efficient long-term solution to the high Bp phenomenon and the cardiac catheterization is also just a temporary relief till the next procedure. Most of the patients undergoing their first cardiac catheterization will need to repeat it again and again from time to time with a continuous deterioration, until there is a need for a major bypass surgery. Even a bypass surgery is not a solution for the general hyperlipidemia causing blood vessels narrowing up to blockages.
When we take into account all the relevant bodily systems pathologies, correctly diagnosing the root cause or combination of causes for the manifested high Bp, we are able to offer the patient an efficient treatment that actually provides a solution for both the underlying metabolic disorders and the high Bp symptom. We are aiming for a treatment plan, not perpetuating the situation, not dealing with mere symptomatic “maintenance” and not creating a further problem with risks and side effects outweighing the benefits of the treatment.
Another flaw in the conventional outlook regarding high Bp is the lack of differentiation between an acute one-time event and a chronic inner pathology. Take for example a person arriving to his doctor with a complaint of heat sensation in the head and palpitation. During the check-up the doctor finds increased Bp, and the patient is prescribed with the usual Bp reducing pills. However, the reasons for that person’s rise in Bp are all temporary external events, such as heated arguments with his neighbour, a divorce or some other family crisis, being fired from his job, a debt to the IRS resulting in a bank account foreclosure, or any other out of the ordinary and extremely stressful events.
For some people, the way of processing the crisis by the body-mind might involve a rise of the Bp, which is also part of the body’s way to protect the organism in extreme circumstances. Raising the Bp is NOT by any way a “self-destructive” mechanism as it might be referred to by the medical establishment.
Let’s suppose that this person’s luck has changed for the better after a few months. The bad neighbour has moved away, the person has fallen in love again and has a new spouse, he/she found a new and better job and there is a settlement of the debt with the IRS. This person has settled down again, feels good, calmed down and the Bp returned to normal. That person is very far from where he/she were a few months ago and so there is no medical reason to continue and take the pills. However, in most cases, the medical establishment doctor did not inquire in the first place about the person’s external circumstances and will not investigate, whether that person should be taken off the pills. Usually, the person will be told that the normal Bp is due to the pills.
Moreover, in our modern technological times, the medical establishment has created an innovative project by which the patients are encouraged to order return prescriptions via website. This, apparently, saves a lot of money for the establishment, as the patients do not need even to see the doctor. So, no follow up and no adjustments to the patient’s current situation. The patient continues to buy and take the pills, in many cases with no medical justification, thereby perpetuating the initial situation. In time, the accumulated side effects of the pills cause a real health issue to arise, due to the long-term damage to the inner organs and systems, as per warnings in many of the package inserts themselves.
Furthermore, the idea of an equal yardstick for all people concerning their Bp is by itself an absurdity and unfounded in logic. There could never be a viable physiological reason to expect that the Bp of an overweight 60 years old person with medical history should equal the Bp of an 18 years old trim athlete. We would reasonably expect that the said 60 years old person’s Bp would be up to a certain extent higher than that of the 18 years old athlete, and this would be perfectly normal for the said 60 years old.
However, the medical establishment is under the assumption that the Bp must be the same for everyone, regardless of their age, occupation, lifestyle and other specific personal circumstances. They all get prescribed with the pills to mechanically reduce their Bp, regardless of the various possible metabolic root causes. The pills then interfere with the natural defense mechanisms of the body and create a dangerous and false illusion that the problem “has been sorted”, just like cleaning a room by sweeping the dirt under the carpet.
